PreHab Exercise Book for Runners - Fourth Edition by Michael Rosengart , CPT, CES, CSCS

PreHab Exercise Book for Runners – Fourth Edition
Hundreds of PreHab Exercises are combined with several basic assessments and Movement Evaluations to help any runner optimize Movement Quality and prepare his or her body to perform at its peak.

Michael Rosengart wrote and illustrated the first edition to chronicle the PreHab Exercises that aided him on his personal journey from a series of injuries back to running.

In 2005, Michael was a 30 year old graduate student in England, passionate about playing college football once again. So, he took to the field and helped lead his team to the BCAFL National Playoffs in his first year. In his second year, he was sidelined with a broken leg that required a plate and six pins to correct the fracture. However, Michael did not give up. He rushed through his rehab and attempted to play again, only to rupture his Achilles Tendon – twice.

After his injuries, Michael found it difficult to run as he used to. There were no more long distance runs on weekends or jogs through the park after work. He was stuck… until he discovered PreHab.

In a presentation by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Michael learned the importance of biomechanical integrity in relation to performance, especially running. He soon designed his own PreHab program that he utilized daily. In a matter of weeks, Michael was back to running as he used to before his injuries.

The PreHab Exercise Book for Runners contains numerous assessments, brief recommendations to help remedy frequent types of running injuries, and hundreds of exercise illustrations that depict precise ways to mobilize specific joints, activate essential muscles, create more stability, and even increase strength.

Additionally, the PreHab Exercise Book for Runners is part of the Amazon Kindle Match program, which means readers receive a free kindle copy of the book with a purchase of the print version of the book.
